Housing concept

A weekend home on a very steep slope near the Peñalagos reservoir, Guadalajara. The night areas and services are on the ground floor, while the day areas are on the first floor.

The initial volume is broken up and divided into day and night areas in order to stack them at different heights. This way, the building opens up and blends in with its surroundings.

The steep slope of the terrain is both a challenge and an opportunity: it has to be preserved and allowed to flow with the architecture, but at the same time it offers a privileged location with the best views of the reservoir.
